Academic Training of Traditional Karate Do Instructors

. Through a Traditional Martial Art from Okinawa (To-De), the principles of Japanese Budo and Sports Science will increase the physical and intellectual potential of practitioners by joining body, mind and spirit.

Challenge

With an adapted Physical Education program in our Instructor Development System we will increase the teaching capacity. Adaptation of the Traditional Karate Do Training System together with the modern concept of Sports Science respecting the laws of body movement in space.

Academic

Physicians, Physical Education teachers, researchers in Sports Sciences and our staff of Traditional Karate Do Teachers, will be in charge professionally to train new generations in a training career with the spirit of preserving good health and physical and mental development.

Method

  • The TKI Method for Instructors is designed for 3rd Kyu and higher grades.
  • With our method you will be able to increase and deepen class instruction. Helping instructors in organizing classes, and applying the methodology.
  • The positive results of the method are clear after a month of teaching, being able to observe great advances in all students.
  • The instructor should use the method with his students at least twice a week.
  • We can combine the method with another training system if both are focused on the same goal.
  • Classes must be organized and structured to apply the method. A calendar will be established to support the learning of the method. The application of our method is simple, as well as effective. For this, the instructor must maintain the proposed system.
  • The TKI will assist the instructors during the class period, with supervision from Sensei Carrión to maintain control of the instructional process and make any necessary adjustments. We communicate by email or video conference to follow your activity.
  • The method is designed to be used in all traditional Karate Do training systems, ie Kata, Kihon and Kumite. Therefore, personal defense. The latter being our main objective.
  • The TKI Method promotes the health of students, allowing a significant and positive change in their body. A process that the instructors themselves must put into practice for themselves, in order to experience the change firsthand, and make it easier for them to transmit it to their students.
